To create our delicious and tasty smoked salmon we need quality base materials. So it all starts with fine pieces of salmon. All salmon we use for our product comes directly from the salmon farm on Stewart Island. This locally produced fish is of excellent quality and is therefore perfectly suited for our smoked salmon delicacy.
The salmon sides are then carefully and individually pin boned by our team and prepared for smoking. We use a special and unique recipe of spices to create our unique taste. Afterwards, we smoke the salmon over Manuka and Kanuka wood to give it its great smoky flavour.
Once smoked, the salmon is cut into pieces of different sizes depending on the orders. It is then vacuum packed, labeled, and cooled... ready for transport to one of our sales locations or directly to our customers' homes.
